ATTENTION! Policies regarding the submission of demo recordings:
L & M Records welcomes the submission of demos from all artists who believe they have the motivation and ambition to be successful as professional performers. We accept recordings in the following formats:
Compact Disc
Cassette Tape
MiniDisc
We do not currently accept DAT recordings. If you wish to submit MP3 recordings, please contact us in advance and await confirmation before proceeding. Unsolicited MP3s will be ignored.
Our A & R staff have busy schedules so we may be unable to review your submission straight away. Please note that repeatedly sending emails or making phone calls to our office regarding your
demo will not entice us to review it any sooner.
If we like what we hear when we do listen to your recording, we will make contact with you for more in-depth discussions. Otherwise, you will not hear from us. Please understand that if you are unsuccessful our
decision is probably based on the musical direction L & M Records wishes to follow rather than a reflection on your musical abilities.
Unfortunately, L & M Records cannot return demos or any accompanying documentation after they have been reviewed.
Checklist when submitting a demo:
If possible, include a brief biography and photograph of yourself/your group.
Don't forget to include your contact details and ensure they are clearly visible... otherwise we can't contact you!
Ensure the recording is well packed to avoid damage during shipment.
